Fun Thursday - River Rafting at the American River

Years ago, before the kiddies, Nerdy Hubby and I did the Kern River white water rafting.  It was our first time and we didn't know better to be scared and did the level IV.  Can't say it wasn't "exciting."

As the kiddies get older, we wanted to introduce white water rafting to them. This time, we had to be smarter and safer.  Did our (well, really my) research.  Found that the American River (South Fork) would be the best place to "get them wet."

As with all the rivers with white water rafting, there are too many company to choose from. So read up on the numerous reviews and found a few to be especially suitable for first timers and family with younger children.
