As Fall Break (from school) and vacation time are drawing to a close, we are reorienting ourselves back to daily living (in 1 day).
Our daily life does not include magical fairies, princesses or happily ever after (at least not in our earthly life). We struggle with our roles, our identities, our responsibilities and so on. Our world is insecure; we decided long ago to limit our intake of "the news."
When this week, most media and people mourned the loss of Steve Jobs, I was a little stunted. The Wall Street Journal called him the "Secular Prophet."
From my memory of what I was exposed to, he wasn't the nicest guy or the kindest fella on the block. He was smart, ahead of his time, took many major calculated risks and ran his world according to himself.
I have no ill feeling toward him. I too mourn the loss of a person with an ingenious mind.
...But Nothing More...
From my perspective, we are all "Born For Greatness."
In this life, we may not be the stars of a Disney movie, but in the life according to His Plan, we are all Princes and Princesses.

This part truly reassured me of my Day to Day...
One step, one move.
Born to trust You.
Made to lay my Life before You
Sometimes you gotta go, uninvited
Sometimes you gotta speak when you don’t have the floor
Sometimes you gotta move,
when everybody else says you should stay
No way, no, not today
You gotta ask, if you want an answer
Sometimes you gotta stand apart from the crowd
Long before your heart could run the risk
You were born for this
You were born for this
