Actually, it may be more accurate to say that we are "still" decorating.
My creativity is not spontaneous. It is an organized unfolding process. So many walls at our house are still bare. Of course there is the issue of a very tiny budget.
The truth though is that we do have stuff. Over the years, we have cumulated a number of "treasures." The process is to figure out what goes with what and how to pull all the "stuff" together.
It's now a running joke that every time the kiddies' auntie stop by for a visit (at least once a month), something in the house will look different. We have been in this house for 17 months now. So stuff have been moved quite a few times. We do feel like until we lived through a few seasons, we really can't get the hang of how we are using our home and what best suits our space.
