Los Angesles will close out portion of the 405 Fwy, about 10 miles for 53 hours, starting 7 pm tonight.
Is it really the end of the world?
This of course made it onto the local news, then the regional news, then the national news.
During this last week, this 53 hours closure made it on to the Today's Show and even CNN!
Just google the word and you will get hundreds of results.
Can Los Angeles, the biggest car culture city, get out of their cars?
That's a good question.
The Mayor of Los Angeles said to get out of your car, walk, bike, do something different. Jetblue offered flights from Burbank to Long Beach...The distant is about 35 miles. And, these are sold out!
I can go on and on...
Honestly, I don't know what to make of it...Just hope it's good for the economy.
Now I have to go detox from Carmageddon...
