Grateful Living...

Pondering on the words of Brother David Steindl-Rast...

"In the midst of a world in which hatred, strife, violence, and war dominate our consciousness, Brother David points our eyes in another direction and tells us that joy and peace are closer at hand than we might realize." David Steindl-Rast (born July 12, 1926, Vienna) is a Catholic Benedictine monk, notable for his active participation in interfaith dialogue and his work on the interaction between spirituality and science.

While I was on Amazon, just out of curiosity, searched for books related to gratefulness...resulted in about 2 dozen titles.  Mmmm...I am not very good in math, but I do believe that it's a digital % in light of billions of titles on Amazon. Interesting how we (in our current society) are not very interested in grateful living.  Even as we struggle, we are still in our juvenile behaviors of "wants" and "more."

Here is the Table of Content for Brother David's Book,
