A Season of Love & Growth

Arbor Day is April 29th 2011

I always know when it is April.  My allergy nose will tell me without a doubt and without even a peek into the calendar.  It's also the birthday month of my younger child.  She is turning 7 today, at around 5 pm.

Watching her grow is an interesting process.  She reminds me very much of a growing plant.  You have to pay attention to see the growth.  She is not as exuberant as her older brother.  At times, she doesn't demand too much of us.  She is thoughtful and inquisitive.  She is aware of the smallest details.  And she thrives on the natural rhythm of time, seldom can be rushed.

She reminds me of the song "Seasons of Love"
Happy Birthday My Sweetness!!!

Rent the Musical is Playing at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood

Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes,

Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Moments so dear

Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure, measure a year?

In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights
In cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife

In five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure a year in the life?

How about love? How about love?
How about love? Measure in love

Seasons of love
Seasons of love

Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Journeys to plan

Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure the life
Of a woman or a man?

In truths that she learned
Or in times that he cried
In bridges he burned
Or the way that she died

It's time now to sing out
Tho' the story never ends
Let's celebrate
Remember a year in the life of friends

Remember the love
(Oh you got to, got to)
Remember the love
(Remember the love)
Seasons of love
(Measure measure you life in love)
Seasons of love
Seasons of love

How Do You Treasure Moments of Love and Growth?
Today, I Will Celebrate Each and Every Minute.
